A custom Virtual Home Energy Savings Walkthrough with one of our skilled industry technicians. Included in this service will be an evaluation of your home's:
• Insulation and Air Sealing.
• Heating, Cooling, and Hot Water equipment.
• Windows.
• Appliances.
• Thermostats.
• Lighting.
• Powerstrips.
• Shower Heads and Aerators.
A Virtual Home Energy Savings Walkthrough is available annually to residential homeowners or renters who receive an electric bill directly from AEP Ohio. Homes do not have to be all electric to qualify for the no-cost virtual home walkthrough. Commercial customers are not eligible.
Prior to the start of your appointment, please make sure to have:
- Access to your heating/cooling equipment, basement, and attic (which may require a ladder).
- A stable internet connection and fully charged battery on the device you plan to use for the assessment.
- A way to take notes.
- A flashlight (separate from the one on the device you will use).
- A copy of your utility bills with your past usage data.
